It's been a busy few days here! Today sees the start of our River of Creativity #06 challenge, this month out theme is WILDLIFE
It was another quiet month at the challenge which is disappointing and we are wondering if we should continue. If you like the idea of a challenge that invites people from all sorts of different types of craft not just card making; please check us out.
With a passion for wildlife both native and international this was always an easy theme for me. This all came together when I found a wonderful tree and root Creative Expressions stamp in a bargain bin. The stamp was inked with Kaleidacolor in Fresh Greens, then picked out the flowers with an orange felt pen. The fox is from a magazine set, also coloured with felt pens and fussy cut.
The main image trimmed to fit over a black card (A6 UK size) leaving a narrow margin. The fox cut out has been attached to overlap the topper and the black base.
At this time of year foxes are out looking for their mate ready to start a new family in the spring. Looking at all the wonderful images in that bargain stamp it fits with an autumn scene or equally well with a spring one.
I thought these challenges might like this:
Try it on Tuesday - Autumn Blessings
Inkspirational - Inspiration picture of a Fox Cake
Stamping Sensations - Animals, Birds, and Bugs. Look carefully at the background and you will see a couple of owls, rabbits, squirrels and even a mouse, while in that much vegetation you know there will be bugs! The fox is just the icing on top hahaha
A Place to Start - Purely Handmade. Hand stamped with rubber/polymer stamps and ink. Fox fussy cut by hand all colouring by hand. But then I don't have a printer or an electric die cutter or anything like that. Fun theme thank you.
Yes I can see all the little creatures within that design Zoe and there's bound to be an abundance of bugs, a lovely creation for our theme at Stamping Sensations this month, thank you.

Wonderful project, Zoe! Hang in there! I felt the same way about A Place To Start when we first began. It took a few months but eventually we started getting more entries. I found that having a few months of Anything Goes, helps new crafters find your challenge and also draws crafters who will become regulars. Good Luck!
