So where has this come from! A romantic card from me what the heck? Well lets start at the be beginning, Less is More have a challenge this week to use Metal. A ah thinks I a small square of colour with a metal charm attached perfect. And worse yet no stamps were inked in the making of this CAS card.
Well after going into work today and then working on another project, cooking and other stuff finally time to play. Key on the table, a metal charm oh and look that heart in corrugated card I cut out but did not use now where is my lock plate die and mirra card? Presto one CAS card.
So of course I'm sharing this with Less is More, and a couple of others

It's time now for a new challenge at Craft-Room Challenge. Our 2nd new teamie, Amber, has chosen the theme this time and it's another great one a colour theme. Bright cheerful inspiring colours that will work for any style.
Aren't these colours full of the joy of spring I thought so they really excited me and lit up the inspiration area of my brain.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Stamp Addicts, these generous girls are giving on random winner £10 to spend with them.
Knowing where to start was the hardest for me, lit up and excited the search was on for the perfect image/project. The stamp I chose is a wood mounted Stampendous stamp that just cried out to be layered. The Image was stamped onto white card which was then given the distress treatment with Old Paper and Tattered Rose. Stampendous shabby ep applied over glue pen lines edging the image and stamped flourishes. The main image tamped twice onto more card and then carefully/fussy cut out, fortunately I have quite a good collection of ProMarkers so matching the colours was not to difficult. As this is a vintage image ivory was used on the doily below the red rose a little more shabby ep added on top.

Oh yes New Zealand is still shaking as often as the tectonic plates can manage to make it. In a few million years those mountains will be worth a visit.
Back to matters closer to home! This week at Craft-Room it is time for Annie's first challenge, and she has chosen a great one, Ribbon and Lace.
Our sponsor for the challenge is once again the generous Crafty Individuals.
You will used by now to my looking for a different approach to a challenge. This one offered an opportunity to use another of the calendar holders I rescued from work at the end of last year, see picture above.
Ribbon Lace cut into strips and folded to make 3 ribbon flowers secured with split pins. These have been glued to the case with contact glue. Crafty Individuals fashion ladies stamped onto card, one model cut out and coloured with ProMarkers. The sentiment is also a Crafty Individuals stamp. By the Way the Red flower in the centre is made of white ribbon lace coloured red with Glimmer Mists.
Unfortunately the pearl topped brads make the design to dimensional to close the case but as this is designed to be displayed it's not really a problem. I photographed it in front of the window to show off the pretty effect of the Alcohol Inks.
Of course there are challenge's I'd like to share this with:
Pumpkin Spice - Colours Red, Pink & White
Suger Creek Hollow - Love and Adore
Crafty Calendar - Love is All Around
Divas by Design - Vintage with Lace
Altered Eclectics - Always anything Altered Goes
Crafty Individuals - A Fine Romance
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Anything but a Card, with Ribbon
Rhedd's Creative Spirit - New Challenge will be Always Anything Altered.

A quick, but hopefully useful, card made in response to this weeks Less is More, happy 3rd Birthday to all the team. Having cut a Ribbon Mask the primary and secondary colours seen in a rainbow were applied using ink dusters and either Adirondak dye based inks or Distress Inks. An old stamp for the sentiment and the mask used again to give it a back ground.
Mr Pounce, this morning, saw me with my iPad camera and decided he should be the centre of attention. Problem is he moves to quickly for the camera to catch a good shot, even here his paws are blurred.
Got myself a little card reader from ebay it cost 99p including p&p now I can download pictures from my digital cameras which should resolve the action shot problem. Have a good day.
